Last night, our little Eden did something that made our hearts sing...
She placed three votive candles on the floor. She used a little keychain flashlight and pretended to light the wick of each votive. She then placed her hands over her eyes and said, "close your eyes." She took a deep breath and proceeded, "Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha‑olam, asher kid'shanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu l'hadlik ner shel shabbat."
We tried to capture it all on Shai's phone, but she was done by the time we got it together! So here it is for you all to enjoy!

What a fun idea! There is a way to register so that your regular readers get updates each time you post. You can check my blog at: www.schaumediationinsights.blogspot.com.
