Today, Eden and her classmates performed a Thanksgiving song. I couldn't tell you the words, but it was really, really cute. They all made their own headdresses and necklaces.
Enjoy!

Shabbat Ema
Little Eden was Shabbat Ema last Friday, she certainly is adorable.
We were so proud watching her sing, pray and share. And, we were so glad that GaGa and Papa Cookie were there too.

Happy Birthday
This week has been a really special one...Monday was Grandpa Billy's birthday, Tuesday was Tante Jan's birthday and Friday is Papa Cookie's birthday...so there are a lot of wishes going around!
While I wish I could have captured this on camera for each birthday, today was the first day, in a lot of days, that the battery in the camera actually worked...so Happy Birthday Papa Cookie!
Oh, and if you are shocked by Eden's appearance, she was practicing applying lipstick.

Computer Savvy
Eden grows up in very cute ways every day... but you all know that by now!
This morning, as I was checking my email, Eden requested that she be able to do the same on her own computer.
So here it is...
The first clip is Eden preparing to check.
The second clip she's "reading" her email!
enjoy

Her Father's Daughter
So, we have a little mimic on our hands...
Not only does she repeat things she hears, she stores them in her memory bank (with proper intonation, inflection and emotion) and says them later, to the shock and awe of those around her.
That is until...
She repeats her daddy!!!!
Our little darling used the "f" word the other day...PERFECTLY!
She got in a little bit of trouble, then she became defiant and ready to throw a tantrum when she blurted out "f***ing table!"
She happened to be standing at the table, banging her drumsticks on it, loudly (which was the reason so got in trouble).
It was cute and upsetting, all rolled into one!
We think we've neutralized the situation, but only time will tell.
In the meantime, Shai has been making an extra large effort not to use those four-letter-words around little Edela.

Distracted
As you know, Eden is quite the performer...
However, a common theme these days is her ability to become VERY easily distracted!
Whether it's the camera that catches her eye or any number of other things...she can't seem to finish her ABCs! Which is a riot, because on any day of the week, she'll happily sing the alphabet, in its entirety, for you - along with a medley of other preschool tunes!

Last night, our little Eden did something that made our hearts sing...
She placed three votive candles on the floor. She used a little keychain flashlight and pretended to light the wick of each votive. She then placed her hands over her eyes and said, "close your eyes." She took a deep breath and proceeded, "Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha‑olam, asher kid'shanu b'mitzvotav v'tzivanu l'hadlik ner shel shabbat."
We tried to capture it all on Shai's phone, but she was done by the time we got it together! So here it is for you all to enjoy!
